A couple of nights ago, I stood outside looking up at the night sky.

In the crisp autumnal air, I watched as numerous Starlink satellites criss-crossed above me. Briefly, for just a couple of seconds, a meteor lit up the inky black sky. It triggered something in me that made me realise that maybe, just maybe, Autumn isn’t all that bad…

I’m not sure when it happened, but we’ve already completed 75% of the year, and yet it feels like only last week it began. I’m struggling to make sense of when or how that happened so quickly.

A couple of months ago, I changed jobs and started working with idverde. They’re leaders in grounds and landscape maintenance and construction across the UK and Europe. The step-up from working as the sole marketer in a small business has been interesting, but I can’t fault the support or welcome I’ve received – the polar opposite to what I’ve been exposed to in the past, in fact.

And, with Autumn comes the onslaught of sport. The F1 season is rapidly approaching its climax; football is back (with Stoke so far exceeding expectations) whilst, across the Atlantic, the Dolphins aren’t doing quite so well… I’ve also recently begun Season 3 of Suits. I also need to figure out what books I’m going to start reading.
