Privacy Policy (v1.0 April 2026)
I run several different websites and projects but, at the end of the day, it’s just me – Matthew Meir. This policy covers everything I do across all my domains.
The “No Nonsense” Version
I value my own privacy, so I treat yours with the same respect.
I don’t sell your data to strangers, I don’t run “creepy” tracking, and I only collect the bare minimum needed to do my work or keep in touch with you.
What I Collect (And Why)
- Contact Information: Your name and email address, if you email me. If we do business together, I’ll also collect a postal address and telephone number.
- Payment Details: If you buy something, my payment processor handles the sensitive stuff. I see the “what” and “when,” but I never see your full credit card number.
- Website Basics: I see basic tech info like your IP address or browser type. This helps me keep my sites secure and see which blog posts people actually enjoy reading.
Sharing Your Info
I’m a freelancer, not a data broker.
I only share your information with the essential tools I use to run my business (like my email provider or my web host). I will never sell your email address to a third party.
My Tools (and how they handle your data)
I don’t build everything from scratch. To run my business smoothly across all my domains, I use a few trusted third-party services. I’ve chosen them because they take security as seriously as I do.
| Who | What it’s for | What they see |
|---|---|---|
| Brixly | Web hosting | Your IP address and basic tech info to keep my sites running and secure. |
| Communication and files | Our emails, shared documents, and any project files we collaborate on. | |
| Zoho | Client management | Your contact details, project tasks, and our conversation history to keep our work on track. |
| Stripe | Payment processing | Your payment info. They handle the transaction; I just see that the bill is paid. |
| Mailerlite | Client updates | Your name and email, used to send you relevant service updates or follow-up offers after we’ve worked together. |
| TidyCal | Meeting scheduling | Your name and email so we can get our intro calls or project check-ins on the calendar. |
Multiple Sites, One Me
Because I operate as a single person, your information will be stored in one central database even if you interact with me across different websites. This just makes it easier for me to manage my business and ensures I don’t send you the same email twice from two different “brands.”
Your Rights
You are in control. If you want me to:
- Tell you what info I have on you…
- Fix a mistake in your records…
- Or delete your data entirely…
Just send me an email, and I’ll take care of it personally.
Security
I use strong passwords, two-factor authentication, and encrypted services to keep your data safe. I do my best to keep the “digital locks” tight, but please remember that no corner of the internet is 100% unhackable.
Cookies
I may use small files called “cookies” to make my websites work better (like keeping you logged in). You can block them in your browser, but some parts of my sites might get a bit grumpy and stop working.
